Potty Time!!

Well after many unsuccessful attempts.... I was able to convince Noah that he is a "big" boy and was ready to go pee pee on the potty. When asking Noah if he wanted to go potty he would always respond... "maybe later" but yesterday I decided to not take that answer. I decided to use stickers for rewards and once he got five stickers he would get to pick out a new toy. Well little did I know that would happen in a matter of hours. He was very determined to get a new toy. At one point I came upstairs to find Noah naked sitting on his potty reading books :) He is very excited about his new pull-ups and potty. I have had to talk him into getting up off the potty at times .. I think he would sit on it all day! I look forward to the day with only one in diapers!!

Vacation 2009

I know it has been along time since the last post.... Luke is now TWO months old! The last two months have flown by fast and Luke is growing bigger everyday. I am returning to work on Tuesday after a long much needed break!
We have spent the last few weeks on a family vacation in Perdido Key, Fl and Orange Beach, Al! Over all we have had a great time with a few small issues. Noah had a fever for a few days and then had a trip to the ER. Noah fell while walking on the pool deck and busted his chin open. The ER trip of course took a long six hours but overall Noah did great. It was very sad to see him so scared :( We stayed entertained with many of his scary stories and playign with the hospital gloves! He ended up with six stitches which put a little damper on the week ahead of swimming! It is nearly impossible to keep a two yr old out of the water while on vacation :) We actually went last night and had the stitches removed. He was very brave and only cried a little. When we first came into the ER he got a little scared :( He told me if that dr puts "that thing" over his face he was going to "karate chop him"! No karate chopping took place!
We are finally heading home tomorrow..... I think it is time for all of us to go home and back to reality! (and we miss our family and friends)
